Since 1971 Hegira Programs, Inc. (HPI) has
been a leader in behavioral healthcare. Today HPI is one of Michigan’s
largest freestanding behavioral healthcare organizations, providing a wide
variety of mental health and substance abuse treatment services in

of quality, individualized, and rapidly accessible behavioral healthcare and
prevention services to individuals and families of all income levels. For more than a quarter century, Hegira has
pledged to meet the diversified needs of our community. Confirming our
commitment to excellence, HPI maintains extensive insurance panel
memberships, a long history of funding from various government agencies and
the continuation of Accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of
