Services
HPI's children's specialty clinic provides
strength-based, family oriented services for children, adolescents and
young adults, ages 4 through 21, with serious emotional disturbances (SED).
The clinic's service array is designed to meet the unique disturbances
of childhood and adolescents. Levels of care include traditional
outpatient, clinic and community-based case management, home-based
services and wraparound.
HPI's experienced professional staff consists of
psychiatrist specifically trained in child and adolescents psychiatry
and social workers, psychologists and professional counselors who meet
or exceed Wayne County's and Michigan Department of Human Services
requirements of children's specialty treatment providers. Treatment
teams work together with each child and family to ensure that
assessments and treatment approaches are person-centered,
strength-based, comprehensive and focused on maximizing each
individual's potential.

accepts Medicaid, MI Child, and most commercial insurances.
Children/Adolescents meeting residency, diagnostic criteria and
financial limits may be eligible for funding through the CareLink Network,
one of the Managed Comprehensive
Provider Network of the Detroit-Wayne County Community Mental
Health Agency and or the Southeast Michigan Community Alliance.
HPI is a contracted provider of the Michigan Department of Human
Services.
