HPI offers short-term residential treatment to adults 18 years and older with substance abuse or co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorder who require intensive structure and 24-hour monitoring and support to abstain from substances of abuse

Our residential treatment approach is based on Stages of Change theory and integrates concepts of therapeutic community, relapse prevention, and supportive Psychoeducation. We believe that successful substance abuse treatment requires both the individual's desire and external support. Oakdale offers an education program to family members and significant others of all individuals in treatment.
